Every snag, on the level.
Snag capture and handover reports for UAE fit-out and inspection teams. The design language comes from the surveyor's kit: laser level, reticle and fluoro marking paint.

WHY PINK
Construction's reflex is hi-vis yellow and black; the next reflex down is blueprint blue. Surveyors actually mark defects on site with fluoro pink spray and tape. The colour belongs to the trade and still stands out in the category.
THE SCENE
A technician in a half-finished Dubai Marina apartment at 10:40, hard sun through dusty glazing, gloves on, one hand free. So: light, very high contrast, 52px targets, and one colour you can find in glare.
Colour
Restrained. Near-neutral graphite and white, tinted a hair toward hue 358, with one signal on no more than a tenth of any screen. Ratios below are measured, not estimated.
Semantic, states only
Chart ramp
Graphite to pink. Charts never borrow the semantic colours.
Status and priority
Priority never rides on the brand colour. Each level has its own shape and its word; critical is the only inverted chip, so it still reads in greyscale and under colour-vision deficiency.

Typography
One variable family, Anybody, used across its width axis: expanded 125 for headings like the stencil on a survey instrument, and normal 100 for reading. JetBrains Mono carries references, coordinates and timestamps, always with tabular figures.
Marina Gate Tower 2
Crack runs 380 mm from the top-left corner of the master bedroom door frame. Likely shrinkage in the new plaster skim; recommend rake out, fill, re-skim and repaint the full wall to avoid patching.
Space, shape and depth
The Instrument archetype. Three radii and no fourth. 1px hairlines tinted to the brand; 1.5px on controls. White instrument faces sit on a toned ground, so depth comes from tone, and shadow appears only when something floats.

DEPTH: TONE, THEN FLOAT
DENSITY: ONE FILE, TWO HANDS
SPACING · 4PX BASE
Controls
One primary action per view gets the pink. Everything else is graphite or a white face with a 1.5px edge.

Surfaces and data
Hairline rows, no vertical rules, tabular figures. The bulk bar shows up on selection, because a reviewer releasing 40 snags doesn't click 40 times.

Report pages share the product's tokens, so the brand in the admin template editor is the brand in the PDF. Photos keep their capture time and pin, and every page carries the ref and version.
Print CSS turns the same page into the downloaded PDF. The Excel export is written in the browser from the same data.
Motion and sound
Four signatures, all transform and opacity, all expo-out. No bounce. Each sound is synthesised live in the browser, with no audio files, and each has a job: confirm, warn or reward. The profile (crisp, soft, off) is remembered per device.
DURATIONS
140 taps and hovers · 220 state change · 380 reticle, sheets, pins · 900 laser sweep and level settle
REDUCED MOTION
With reduced motion on, the laser, reticle and drops become crossfades and counters jump to their value. Sound still confirms the action.
States
The unhappy paths are designed, not left to chance.
